Berkeley Square. (W1) (1740) So called from the Fort of Oliver's Mount; was rebuilt with ornamental redbrick houses. It contains the Vestry Hall -now the Registry Office for the district built 1887. (Mayfair, G. E. Mitton, p. 17) |
