Queen Square Place

Queen Anne's Gate. (SW1) Here, where he had resided nearly half a century, in 1832 died Jeremy Bentham, in his eighty-fifth year. He was M.A. of Queen's College in Oxford, and a Bencher of Lincoln's Inn. He bequeathed his body to Dr. Southwood Smith for the purposes of anatomical science.
