Northumberland Avenue is splendid short street stretching from Trafalgar Square in the west to The Embankment.
The avenue occupies the former site of Northumberland House, home of the Dukes of Northumberland and the Percy family.
Today it is predominantly office accommodation housing a number of ministerial offices including The Ministry of Defence and DEFRA.
