The Rex Whistler Restaurant at Tate Britain is home to one of the most original restaurants in London bringing together a great modern British menu, award wining wine list and a spectacular mural. Head chef, Richard Oxley, has created a delightful menu of contemporary British cuisine that suits a broad range of tastes. The specially commissioned mural which envelopes the restaurant is titled The Expedition in Pursuit of Rare Meats and was finished by Rex Whistler in 1927. The Rex Whistler Restaurant at Tate Britain is also home to the Tate’s multi-award-winning Wine list.
