The Star is a vibrant and eclectic independent pub on London’s Chester Road near Tufnell Park tube. Filled with local hipsters, The Star has a passion for good food, good music and, of course, good drinks. The dining room - with exposed brick walls, moody lighting and a quirky mish-mash of vintage furniture - has a warm, down-to-earth ambience and is popular for weddings, birthdays and special, intimate celebrations. The contemporary British menu features favourites such as the marinated organic cod fillet with wasabi mash and bok choi; the homemade organic beef cheeseburger with handcut chips and mixed salad; and the curried carrot and chickpea soup. The bar at The Star is ideal for relaxed pre-post dinner drinks.
