I worked for this Company in the 1950's when it was in the old Spitalfields Market. People who worked there at the same time were... Hugh Thompson (Director), Tom Stockdale, Manny Forman, Pat King, Alan Pendergast, and Lorry Driver Sam Willett. I should imagine they have all passed away now with the exception of Alan, who is a couple of years older than myself. I remember the owner, Arthur May, driving up from Weybridge in surrey every day and all the staff worrying because he was very old and his eyesight very bad. He couldnt read anything without a magnifying glass.... however, he always made it safely. I had good times there, but decided to move on after about three years because there were no prospects for promotion..
