"V. nice chap but a little bit pedantic"

Dr Barrat is a First-class Doctor, he very rarely deviates from the rules and is a lovely person to talk with. But sometimes his excellent clinical technique can obscure the more "empathic" aspects of his personality, especially if you are suffering from a condition which is a little awkward to talk about. This does not mean he is a bad Doctor or non-empathic, quite the opposite, the chap is a great man and NEVER makes mistakes but sometimes I felt that I required a little more flexibility in my treatment and perhaps his rigid attitude to his practice put me off asking for more help. But then again, I have never fully trusted Doctors - however I must stress this man will help and he is probably among the best Doctors I have ever seen..
