"Not Americana as I know it"

Having dined at the Arkansas Cafe, I have to say I don't get it. The owner is a character but I'm not there for Good Old Boys. The food is average at best and expensive for what it is. The barbeque sauce bears no resemblance to BBQ sauce. Its more like watery salsa. The potatoes and bean salad are unusual but not in a good way. Service is hit and miss. So, I guess this is a place for a combination of the "unusual" with a low end Disney touch. Some people applaud this place. I just don't see the point..
