The VICTORIA or ROYAL GALLERY leading to the House of Lords, through which the Queen passes on her way to Parliament, contains Macuse's celebrated pictures, in stereo-chromatic colours, representing the "Meeting of Wellington and Blucher after the Battle of Waterloo," and the "Death of Nelson." These paintings which were executed by a new process, which it was hoped would be permanent, unfortunately already show signs of decay.
