Marylebone is an area in the City of Westminster North of Oxford Street and South of Regents Park.
Marylebone is a mostly residential area though the Marylebone Village area (around Marylebone High Street and Marylebone Lane) offers a good mix of shops and restaurants.
The old church in High Street is built on the site of the church in which Hogarth depicted the Marriage of the Rake in the "rake's Progress".
