Soho Square is situated on the south side of Oxford Street; in the past it was a fashionable place of private residence , but now is principally devoted to business and is home to a number of media organisations, including film, television and sport broadcasters such as the British Board of Film Classification, the Football Association and 20th Century Fox.
Soho Square is said to be named from an old cry in hunting the hare.
