The voice behind a songbook of household hits, Paul Carrack is an independent, one-man engine room. His new album Rain Or Shine comes right after an epic ten-month run of shows that included a massive two-leg UK tour, international dates and a run of shows in Europe and North America with Eric Clapton, who personally invited to join his stellar band and had him as featured vocalist.
Paul was the frontman and principal songwriter of Ace, he was also in Squeeze (where he intermittently handled lead vocals), Roxy Music and Roger Waters backing group The Bleeding Heart Band. He was also the co-frontman and songwriter for Mike + The Mechanics, following Paul Young's (the other co-frontman of M+TM) death in 2000, Paul Carrack became the sole lead vocalist until his departure in 2004. Since then he has had a very successful solo career.
Paul Carrack is a unique British talent, an artist at the top of his game who's out there proving it every night, literally rain or shine.
