Chez Kristof

About Chez Kristof

Jan Woroniecki (the man behind Wodka and Baltic)’s offering to the West London crowd, Chez Kristof has been heaving from day one. The man’s a master at creating atmosphere. In a very plain setting that was once Maquis he’s created a vivacious buzz based around a two-tonne zinc bar, packed most nights with stylish ladies and gents loving the cocktails, and a louche dining area attended by a swanky staff. A dreamy regional French menu includes braising dishes such as cassoulet, classics like steak tartare, and hearty mains such as roast pigeon with lentils and bacon. The crab with mayonnaise and twice-cooked chips is quite delicious. Everything comes in cast-iron pans, giving an earthy feel to the meal. Spacious outside terrace.
