Tamarind
About Tamarind

Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Tamarind is always superb. The chic, gold-accented dining room is elegant, yet comfortable and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply stunning. Chef Alfred Prasad is renowned for his originality and his sumptuous seasonal menus put a fabulous, modern spin on traditional Southern and North-West Indian cuisine: spicy seafood dishes, curries, kebabs, - you'll be spoiled for choice! Highlights are juicy, spicy Tiger prawns tossed with onions, tomatoes and green chillies; sweet, fragrant lamb cutlets marinated in paw-paw, garlic and star anise; and moreish chicken marinated in yoghurt with paprika and cinnamon. The Naan bread is divine. Staff are warm and professional and are happy to advise on the dishes, as is knowledgeable Sommelier Illario Terranova. A must if you love Indian food, and a must if you don't - you'll be converted!
