Mini Mundus

About Mini Mundus

Mini Mundus restaurant on Wandsworth Common is a Gallic gem. Owned and managed by a French couple who definitely know their onions, it serves unpretentious but top-notch French food to a happy band of locals in the know. The décor is light, modern and bright, and as you look out over the cricket green you could almost be in a country village. Start with a plate of spanking fresh oysters or the smoked duck breast and baby spinach salad, then go for a meltingly tender bavette steak with shallots and sautéed potatoes. Prices are astonishingly reasonable, so there's no reason to deny yourself the chocolate fondant for dessert. Mini Mundus, major munching.
