I used a number of agencies who kept on sending me people who knew even less that my son who needed help with economics. BHT charged considerably more, £50 per hour but I knew immediately that they were able to help me find a proper tutor. One hour with a good tutor is worth 10 with one who has little idea of the syllabus and my son immediately knew the difference. To be honest, I reckon it was the best few pounds I ever spent on education and I spend alot. My son went to St Pauls (Barnes) but was not an A* pupil and was feeling ignored by teachers there who had pigeon-holed him. His confidence picked up and he got an A grade despite being predicted grade C by the school. BHT are also excellent for school advice and know all the behind the scenes gossip and are worth talking to about which school is best for certain things and give you all this information for free!

Caroline.
