A review of The Old Bank by Pre - Tuesday 9th of January 2007
I was recommended The Old Bank by friends and have been many times since! I've eaten there on my anniversary and for Valentines day and I'll be going again this Valentines 2007!
I didn't expect much on my first visit, but for a local Italian in an up and coming area the food is what counts and was spot on.
The seating is a bit old Italy but homely, dim lighting and staff rushing around trying to tend to everyone's need. Maybe they do need extra hands but by no means they do a great job.
A warm cosy eatery where the food matters.
Not your cup of tea your expecting hand and foot and 5 star service but if you can't be bothered to cook but want an appetizing meal in a normal restaurant where the food matters then The Old Bank is my choice.
