I work round the corner from Ossie's, and although I go there only infrequently, I always get a warm welcome from the Irish lady (Maggie?) who runs the place.
My mother, my 2 kids and I always go there on Lord Mayors Show day & Maggie always has a broad smile on her face & treats the children, in particular, brilliantly, often giving them/us extra drinks/ snacks and even creating extra space indoors for us where possible.
Her staff also religiously follow her philosophies on life and the food servingsare alwaysexcellent quality and very generous in size.
My colleagues in my office have made similar complimentary remarks about the restaurant aswell.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently coming near to the end of its lease - I hope that Maggie secures an extension or finds alternative premises nearby as she will be sadly missed by a significant number of her customers if she cannot do so.
If you are in thearea and need something to eat or drink, pay a visit & I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
