David Wignall often worked at 33,Belgrave Square.I often busked in the subway of Hyde Park Underground Station, near Saint George's old Hospital. The Provisional IRA often bombed London,so I'd busk more often.Metropolitan PCs would audition me as they plodded down the subway tunnel listening to my words, guitar & harmonica. If they liked the vibe they'd plod on pretending I wasn't there. It always pleased me to pass most of the auditions. My blessed friend David Wignall lived at 3,Higher Kingston, Yeovil, Somerset. He & his loving partner Mavis Teagle would put me up when hitching from Sussex to Hatherleigh on the River Tarka the "Stephen" Otter immortalized. He was a TRANSFIGURATION Medium for RED CLOUD.Healing was his speciality,& when I think of him and Mavis I think of SITTING BULL too:for David once told me that the honourable old Chief came in to try & help me.Hay Sioux!
