Yes it is compulsory to pay for the B.T.A because this in order to verify that you have the money in possession , because it is seen as a means to ensure that Applicant(s) traveling down to work as in United Kingdom are up to the standard of their purpose .

The B.T.A requires the Taxes and its enable us to know that this person is responsible and Capable to work here in the UK Legal.

So this is for all the applicant that want to work here in the UK and make sure you pay your B.T.A fee before you come down to the UK.

Regards,

UK British Embassy Immigration Office.
