I remember in the early fifties when i was young buying 1/2 pint glass of sarsaparrila,they also sold a great number of other health products,a source of natural remedies with hundreds of different plants and extracts. The man i remember in the shop looked a bit like the magician david nixon! Also remember those large apothecary coloured bottles. think they still have them in the shop?.
