I booked 2 flights with my wifes debit card for her parents from Moscow to Malaga. They are in their late 70's. Within 2 minutes of the confirmation I had an e mail saying flights were cancelled. After waiting for over 30 minutes to spak with an agent in India I was told that there was a security issue with the payment. Not according to the Hlifax there wasn't. I was told that the money would be refunded and could I purchase again using another card. This I did. Howver there was a surcharge as I used my credit card. The total amount was £579.80. My Credit Card company sent me a text asking if I had authorised a £13 payment. Of course I replied NO. Immediately I get an e mail from e bookers saying that the flights were cancelled. After hours speaking with India I was told that the payments were taken as follows: £13 for e bookers and £566.80 for flights. Wouldn't it be a good idea to advise customers of this? So to date I have booked the flights twice with my credit card being frozen and my wifes account having been debited as well with NO FLIGHTS. We were told that we could book the flights again using yet another card and our money would be refunded in 10-14 days. Our Bank and Credit Card company have advised that if EBOOKERS sent a fax confirming the details that our funds would be released immediately. HAVE E BOOKERS DONE THIS? I thing you know the answer to that question. So I eventualy get e bookers head office number in London and guess what? VOICE MAIL! I have left 15 messages for them to call me without any response..
