I've used Allen & Wainwright for many years as well, and I've always found the owner to be courteous and polite. He’s never had time to watch TV each time I’ve been there as people are queuing up.

Each time I’ve had a repair done; it’s been completed well and guaranteed. Repairs could be done faster, but good clock repairers are hard to find. I had one clock that had to go back, but it was repaired straight away, and he even offered to come to my house and hang it for me.

As to nothing being priced, you could always ask!
