"Check your lease car agreement"

Hi,
Just a quick note to advise you that if you have any cars on lease then, please check your lease agreement.
If you are unfortunate enough like us to have your car written-off then your agreement states that: clause 6.4 terminates your agreement, but clause 8. mainly clauses 8.4.3 and 8.5 does not terminate your agreement.
Clause 6.4 should be written there is no termination under any circumstances due to total loss of the vehicle.
Unfortunately we had our vehicle written off 6 months before the end of the lease, Citroen have been given the value the total loss of the vehicle at the time of the accident, as they agreed with the insurance company but, now require us to complete all payments to the end of the contract, I was without any car for this 6 months and must now pay all monies for the three year contract.

I am now sending a copy of this agreement to the Office of Fair Trading and my local Trading Office for their inspection.
