I sent my bannisters to be stripped. They had been varnished originally by the builder 20 years ago, and were a strange orange colour. I was considering replacing them.
Once the wood had been stripped, primed and waxed, the natural grain was evident and the natural colour blends with my existing internal doors and new kitchen cabinets. I was delighted with the final finish, and relieved that I did not throw the bannisters away!
There were a few trials along the way, but I was always kept informed of progress, and Becky and the team was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. Highly recommended.
