"FREE SERVICE FOR A YEAR ON ALL NEW BIKES"

Holloway Cycles (HC) is by no means the nearest bike shop to me, or possibly the cheapeast, but in terms of service, support, help and friendliness they score big marks. I was particularly interested in what "Angry Cyclist" said about the cost of a service on a nearly new bike. Clearly, he had not bought it from them!
I will now explain that the biggest reason I purchased my bike from HC - a shop 13 miles from where I live - is that they offer a Free Service on all new bikes sold by them (inc. their other 2 shops [in W1 and Hatfield]) for a year. Now work out that if a cost of a service is going to be £70.00, or even £138.50 that angry cyclist was supposed to have been charged it works out at quite a saving. Which other bike shop in London offers the same deal? I know of no other. Absoultely bloody marvellous!
So, buy your bike from HC and get a year's free service, support and help from people who actually cycle themselves and whose workmanship has, in my opinion, always been good.
Furthermore, they offer the cyclescheme deal: for those that don't know, this is the scheme which our great elected government offers the workers to make considerable tax savings on the cost of a new bike and accessories, if bought at the same time, through salary deduction.
