I will start with the good points ( won't take long).

It was my birthday

The bedding was clean

The breakfast was good

The not so good points( get ready...)

The en suite bathroom was disgusting, the shower was rusty and covered in scale. Shower curtain rail was so rusty i'm surprised it was still up. Soap dish was disgusting and had not been cleaned in weeks.I really can't stress enough how bad it was and i am not a clean freak. No soap provided, only one towel given for two people to share.( the towel did seem new)

The bedroom was decor was really tatty with a hole in the wall and a lovely big grotty stain on the ceiling.

The kettle was covered in grime and lots of filthy fingerprints, the chest of drawers had not been dusted in weeks as had not the lamp shades.

The overall decor of the rest of the hotel was very poor and i was very surprised they had a 3 diamond rating from the AA. We were not the only unhappy guests as we heard others complaining too.

I know the price was not high but there have got to be other hotels for the same money that take a pride in their establishment. Next time i will be paying that little bit extra to go somewhere else. .
