"Great value for money!"

This hotel was a perfect gem! We recently came to London for a friend's 30th birthday and being on a budget needed a place which was affordable. Being from Sheffield, anywhere close to St Pancras was going to be handy, but previous reputation of the King's Cross area plus certain reviews of other hotels meant that finding a hotel within our small budget might mean compromising on quality. Not so with the Apollo.

Our room was clean, tidy and nicely furnished and being at the end of the street pretty quiet bar the odd train, but we didn't hear anything throughout the night. It was within a minute's walk of St Pancras but convenient also for the location of the bar in Exmouth Market, saving us money on taxis. We went for a shared bathroom rather than en-suite, although we had the choice to pay the extra. The bathroom was very clean and close to the room. Breakfast was great and included in the price. The people running the place were friendly and professional and all areas were kept clean - when I arrived someone was dusting all the picture frames in the hall - impressive. All in all I was delighted by the experience and would DEFINITELY stay there again, especially for the £48.00 price which we paid for the room. Amazing place for that budget..
