"Great pub"
A review of Builders Arms by Ben - Thursday 3rd of July 2008
My friend and I came here for a free comedy night that went much better than expected. We were greated at first by the downstairs barman who serves us our drinks, and pointed us towards the comedy located upstairs. The MC, Bobby, welcomed us personally before the show, and later produced a spectacular show with 4 good comedians. Obviously, some better than others, but overall it was great. During the intervals, we headed back downstairs for more drinks, the selection was pretty good, prices were cheap enough (cheap for its location indeed) and the barman was cool to us again, having a chat with us when we got served, as we were the last in the queue. Clean, modern, and young people after about 9pm. (Load of suits at about 7:30, but left a bit later)
