"From an Old Stopfordian aka Number 1"

A review of Bishop Stopford's C Of E Secondary School by Simon Mason written on Tuesday 9th of September 2008

I started at The Bishop Stopford Scool Enfield in September 1967 as one of the first pupils of the new School. I was also the first person to sign the School roll.During my time at the School I was always know by the late Dr Roberts, the First Headmaster of the School, as "Number 1"; I even get a mention in his book.

I have had a look at your virtual tour on your website and the School has certainly changed from my time at the School! The new buildings look impressive ! As a former Stopfordian and proud of it, I wish the school every success for the future. I am sure the next forty years of the School life will be just as successful. One day I would like to see the new facilities and how it has changed from when I was at the School ! I doubt if would recognise anything !
