Bennett Street


St. James's. (SW1) Named from Henry Bennett, Earl of Arlington, who owned the property on which it was built. At No. 4, in this street, Lord Byron wrote "The Bride of Abydos" and "The Corsair." (Reference: Jesse's London, vol. I, p. 71)
