Lambeth Palace for centuries the residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury, has passed through all the Ecclesiastical changes which have taken place since the Thirteenth Century.
Entrance to the Palace is through the gatehouse, a good example of Tudor brick, built by Cardinal Morton in 1495.
