The Museum of the Moving Image was a film buffs haven. It detailed the history of film, television and animation from its humble beginnings to the present time. Visitors to the museum were encouraged to make their TV debut there and could read the news from an auto cue, or fly a la Superman, or be interviewed by Barry Norman. The museum was very popular with children, who used to run amok around the exhibits and actors.
