Cafe at Heal’s

About Cafe at Heal’s

Arbiters of design for almost 200 years, Heal's knows exactly how to tick its customers' boxes. And so, style-conscious ladies and gents, when you need to refuel on a trip to the Tottenham Court Road store, make your way to the first floor where the Café is well known as something of an oasis where you can enjoy homemade cake and a cuppa in the morning and afternoon, or a 'proper' meal at lunchtime. Rather than being split into starters, mains and desserts, the Modern European menu starts with light dishes such as croque monsieur and moves through a Thai beef salad to a rib-eye steak served with thyme-roasted new potatoes. The fat chips and aioli sell very well. All in all, the Café has contemporary but timeless quality, rather like the spirit of Heal's. Clever, that.
