A candlelit ambience with smouldering music is simply bliss for relaxing conversation over a terrific meal. The service is swift and friendly, which lets the evening flow seamlessly. The menu changes seasonally and features modern British and International inventions like a starter of warm salad of black pudding, poached egg, croutons and a grain mustard dressing, a main course of confit of salmon on a courgette rösti and wilted spinach drizzled with fresh herb olive oil followed by the infamous double espresso brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. The wine list features trendy Chilean wines such as In Situ Carmenere 2001, traditional European wines as well as a delectable single vineyard selection for the connoisseur. There is an assortment of spirits, liqueurs and digestifs available.

The Anglesea is a Victorian Free House. There are two bars, a large saloon, and a small cosy bar with an open fire for those cold winter evenings. Ideal for a drink in the summer, with outside seating in the forecourt.

Sophisticated and stylish - relax in their armchairs and enjoy table service from attractive waitresses. Can be quiet earlier on in the evening, but does become alot buzzier, with the added touch of live music on occasions.
