About Maxwell’s Hampstead
Lively and cheerful restaurant now approaching its 30th year with a winning
combination of good, affordable food served in a buzzy environment. This
American style eatery is popular with young and old alike - you could take
an ageing aunt or a pile of children for a birthday treat and be safe in the
knowledge that there is something on the menu for everyone. Not necessarily
the place for a romantic night encounter - although some long standing
plights have been trothed here! - but great for an informal lunch or evening
out. What’s cooking? Popular American style menu - Buffalo wings, club
sandwich, fajitas, chilli, ribs, steak and the ubiquitous burger. Desserts
include apple pie, chocolate brownies and sticky toffee pudding.

There is certainly an extensive range of drinks at the bar in Maxwell’s. If, for some reason you can’t see the drink you are looking for just ask the bartender and he will be happy to rustle it up for you. What’s more it’s Happy Hour daily from midday until 8.30pm - all cocktails are a fantastic £2.95...¬
...we particularly enjoyed The Three Mules cocktail a naughty international mix of vodka, rum and tequila and Maxwell’s Fury (vodka, rum, triple sec, kahlua, grand marnier, sours and cranberry). There is a great selection of bottled beers, a concise yet comprehensive wine selction and some fun shooters such as a Springbok, Raging Bull and a B54 to name but a few.
