St Paul’s Cathedral Refectory

About St Paul’s Cathedral Refectory

Set in quite amazing surroundings, the Refectory Restaurant is a proper City restaurant serving smart, stylish modern British food. The room itself has the traditional red tiled floor and soaring vaulted ceilings, while the fittings are right up to date with proper white tablecloths. The licence for wine and beer means you don’t have to give up your creature comforts, and the menu changes seasonally. Try starter of herbed chicken and spiced prune terrine with marjoram dressing, main course of seared fillet of smoke haddock with champ potato and whisky sauce, and pud of Oxford burnt cream with red berries. Trad lunch is served on Sundays, and tea in the afternoons.
