"At nearly 90, Mum has never been happier !"

Thanks to all the care and interesting activities at the Wimbledon Guild, my mum has never been so happy. She appreciates being collected and taken home every day, while I have greater peace of mind, knowing that Alice and her team are keeping an eye on her and will quickly let me know if they are worried about her at any stage. She enjoys her lunch there and I know she is having nutritious and delicious food. She used to be a brilliant cook herself at home so standards are high, believe me!

She has made lots of new friends (not easy for many senior citizens)and always has someone to chat to. When I visit I notice how relaxed the atmosphere is in the lounge - lots of small round tables with 3 or 4 people at each. Definitely not the usual chairs all round the walls where no-one looks or speaks..
