"English farewell before plane to Sydney"

Had a couple of hours to fill before the dreaded long hall flight home to Sydney. We were staying at the airport Ibis Heathrow & we stumbled upon this hidden English gem as we explored down Bath Road. What a fitting finish to our five weeks of travel through UK & Europe- The quintessential English Pub. And the lady who served us was friendly & knowledgeable about local & pub history ( Heathrow doesn't just mean big airport ! ) The huge English burger that was washed down with some English brew- perfect. Would recommend. .
