"Constant price change to same destination by double"

Been using the station cabs for six months paying between £8-10 to home, from the station. Slight fluctuation in cost from time to time, not a problem, however, today I was informed it was £15 having got home... Merely a short 5-6 min journey. Only to be argued with for 10 mins, being spoken to rudely and being told they don't want passengers like me... Why would I question the price, if it wasn't a shock to me having paid £8-£10 to all of a sudden being told £15 which is a huge jump. I'm a 30 yr old respectable career woman ... Don't expect to be ripped off and spoken to rudely after giving 6 months loyalty!!.
