"Come to the open-air library!"

St James Street Library was closed by Waltham Forest Council in 2007, and reopened by residents in 2008! We can't open the building itself (though we're still urging the council to do so). But local people miss their library so much that St James Street Library Campaign now runs an open-air library every first Saturday afternoon of the month from 2-4pm. We have big, free book swap stalls for all kinds of literature, including audio books, plus videos. All welcome! Find out more at stjamesstlibrary.wordpress.com..
