"Angry lady"

Returned a gift today to be told - can't do until tomorrow. My nearest store is 18 miles away so my trip today was 36 miles. I asked to speak to the manager (as the shop was very quiet with NO queues). I was informed "it's store policy but we will refund up to 28 days. Never mind the inconvience and the fact that i will be out of pocket forperrol for another 38 miles. Why was i not informed of this policy when i made the purchase on 22/12/11? That will be my last time shopping in Bhs. Funny how all other shops can manage returns after Christmas with dedicated returns tills. BHS is acting likd the poor relation to the likes of Primark and Asda!.
