Hi, found this site by accident, I was in the Girls Life Brigade at Springfield Methodist, around 1957+, I stayed with the youth club, until I got married in 1962, I met my husband Brian Osborn at the youth club. I also remember 'Griff' as the minister was called, a wonderful person. The basement was made up of a lot of rooms, the youth club side had a great dance room, which the members were allowed to decorate, a lot of talented members emerged, and billiard tables for the boys. In my time, there were Mods and Rockers, but they got on ok. Lots of very fond memories.
