"From the 1970's"

A review of Blitz Gym by Lee written on Wednesday 23rd of March 2022

I remember it when it was owned and run by Carlo Ferrari - mid 1970's He had a degree in structural engineering and he used to design and make some of the equipment in the gym. I would see him drawing something and a few weeks later it would appear in the gym as a new piece of equipment.

"Steve" was Steve Dinsdale. He competed in NABBA competitions. Not a tall guy - but very strong. There was a movie stuntman there whom I used to train with, can't remember his name. He said the two most dangerous things a stuntman has to work with were animals and fire because they both have minds of their own. We used to pay 50 pence at the door to get in..
